Thanks to our group, I had my first experience with handwoven wrap. It was made by our lovely babywearing mum Vesna who named it On Swallow Wings(size3) .
The first thing you notice about this wrap are its shiny threads and beautifull colours. Sincerely, it is not so thick as I expected due to its GSM.
First thing I must stres are my personal wrapping preferences and difference between them and these wrap’s wrapping qualities.
I prefer thin wraps, base or base size plus one and multilayered carries. This is completely opposite of this wrap. Our little Swallow, how we call it, is great shorty. It carries weight perfectly, has no bounce and it doesn’t sack. It has nice diagonal strechy and a lot of grip. I think that as shorty it would be perfect but for multilayered carries would be difficult to tighten it up. It isnt difficult to tie a double knot and everything really stays on its place.
I can congratulate Vesna on her first wrap, which is great toddler shorty wrap. Lovely, Vesna, continue weaving and improving. I am looking forward to trying some nice pink or rose coloured wraps.

I was honoured to be the first tester of this gorgeous On the Swallow Wings wrap.
I was amazed at the first touch, and couldn’t believe that this is the first wrap Vesna ever made.
I could say it’s even thin in a hand, and that’s incredible since the gsm is around 400. Perfectly grippy with a little bit of glide, just as I prefer. Toddler worth shorty, with excellent diagonal stretch, and almost no bounce at all. They can leen, straighten their legs, but it stays in a place. I used it mostly in a ruck carry, and feels cushy on the shoulders.
It’s a bit narrow, but it didn’t bother me at all.
The only thing I could say against it is that I don’t like that shiny thread, but that is just my personal preference. Would really love to try it as longer wrap, cause I think it would be amazing for tandem carry my twins.
I really really love this wrap!
I’m eager to try what next is coming from her loom.
Thank you Vesna and LTC for this opportunity!
Edit:
Colors are wonderful, and I really can’t catch them with the camera.

On swallow wings is the first hand-woven wrap woven by Vesna Djinovic and also the first HW I had the chance to wrap. It’s size 3 so I didn’t have much carry options. It is heavy in the hand but thin under the fingers and has a lot of grip, good diagonal stretch, but not a little bounce. I think there is a place for Vesna’s handwovens in the world of hand-woven wraps and I can’t wait to see what comes out of her loom next.

Vesna’s On Swallow Wings is the first handwoven wrap I’ve tried. I was impatient to have it in my hands and knew I would be amazed. I loved everything about it: the combination of colours, the shiny moment, the fringe… the length was challenging for me, as I’ve only worn sizes 5 (base) and 6 until now and I can’t say I am experienced wrapper yet. For this reason I used a ring and mostly the short front cross carry with a ring size M and even managed to tie FWCC TUB. This wrap is so gentle but strong and I would really love to carry my baby in it for much longer time. My younger boy was my testee (9 months, >9,5 kg) and he was unbelievably calm during our walks. 🙂 Great job, dear Vesna Djinovic, keep weaving and surprising us! ❤ Thank you and @Lenine putujuće nosiljke for this extraordinary opportunity! #lenastravelingcarriers #vesnaltc

Thanks to Lenine putujuce nosiljke (Lena’s traveling carriers) we had opportunity to test amazing handwoven wrap by Vesna in size 3.The name On swallow wings is perfect fit for this incredible combination of colors with just right amount od shiny tread. This is my firs hand woven and my first size 3 and at the time of testing my baby boy was 6 months and 7,5 kg but i have tried it with my 4 years old girl who has 17 kg. I was surprised how strong it is because it seamed so thin at first. I would recommend it for a experienced wrappers.I really loved it and can’t wait to try some other wraps from Vesna Djinovic. #lenastravelingcarriers, #vesnaltc

Thanks to Lena’s traveling carriers an Vesna Djinovic we had the opportunity to try this gorgeous handwoven wrap. On swallow wings is strong, but so soft and gentle, and the colour is just perfect. My baby is 6,5 mounts old, and 8kgs and he was enjoying in it too.

I’m happy to had the opportunity to try “swallow”. This is the first time I’ve tried hand woven wrap.
The first thing that fascinated me was what I saw. Beautiful and delicate colors that blend in nicely and the whole wrap shines. 💫
The other thing is that this wrap can really hold an elephant!
The only thing I was not happy about was that it was short for me, so I couldn’t try many ways of tying.
If it was my size, how would I enjoy it then!❤️
I don’t get into weaving, but I know I like the way weave this wrap.
I won’t even talk about the cute middle marker.💙
I really like what Vesna is doing and I hope she continues in this direction.
I can’t wait to see what Vesna has in store for us next!♥️♥️♥️
Thanks #lenastravelingcarriers and Vesna for this opportunity !!

On swallow wings in size 3 is the first hand-woven wrap woven I had the oportunity to try. It is beautiful wrap with beautiful colors and shiny thread, heavy in the hand but thin. It is have good diagonal stretch, lot of grip and just a little bounce. I tryed with newborn and todller and it is pearfect for both of them. My todller tried to escape but this wrap doesn’t move anywhere and holds great. It was an honor for me to babywearing my kids in this artwork Vesna Djinovic ❤❤

I am a RS girl, but I had to try this great wrap. Colours are souch a beautifull and my favorite blue heart is in the middle. I am really thankfull to Lena’s traveling carriers and our great mom Vesna Đinović for an opprortunity to test this amazing handwoven. This is one strong wrap, I can tell by weight of my children, son 3 an a half years old (14kg) and a girl 17 months old (9kg), that gives them a great hold. The only problem that I noticed with this wrap is its length. It was too short for me and I could not enjoy much, but I am very interested for new Vesna’s projects. ❤️

On Swallow Wings is first hand-woven wrap that I try ever, and first woven wrap shorter than 5. It is fantastic, like fairytale. Colors are incredible, colors of magic😍. Wrap has sparkles💖, like snow, it can’t be cached on photo as well. I was hypnotised🤩.Wrap is soft and full of texture, very airy and cushy on shoulders. It was perfect for my newborn (5kg) but for toddler too (20m 12kg).It’s easy to tie and doesn’t move, no slippery at all. It has no bounce and very good holds heavy weight, but still enough soft for newborn. On Swallow Wings is amazing wrap, it was my pleasure to testing.I’m very grateful for this opportunity Lenine putujuce nosiljke (Lena’s traveling carriers) and Vesna Djinovic

This lovely wrap (“On swallow wings”) by Vesna Djinovic is the first handwoven wrap I have ever seen. It’s totally different from the others I’ve tried. You can feel how much work is in it and of course, how much love! The colours are fantastic and the fabric is so soft and silky. Sorrily, lately my boy is totally against wrapping so I had no chance to tie very often and to try everything I would love to. It’s a pity, because this wrap deserves to be used and to be loved 24/7!😊💗 I hope I will have the chance to try it once more, if everything goes well, one day with my third child!
Thank you very much for the opportunity, I’m really very glad and thankful because I had the chance to see, feel and try! Thank you Vesna Djinovic @Lena’s traveling carriers!

Thanks to Lenine putujuce nosiljke (Lena’s traveling carriers) we tested our first handwoven wrap made by the very talented Vesna Djinovic. The wrap has amazing colors and is soft and moldable. The only issue we had is that it was a bit too short for us, as I only tried wraps in sizes 5 and 6 before this one. It was great with a ring though. The baby tester was 14,5 months old at the time of testing and had about 10kg.
Thanks again for the opportunity #lenastravelingcarriers

Many thanks to #leninetravelingcarriers Lenine putujuce nosiljke (Lena’s traveling carriers) and #vesnaltc who made it possible for us to try this beauty. When I first saw the wrap I spent almost half an hour just looking and touching it The material, design and weaving made me speechlest. The color combination is amazing. I have no right words to describe it. This was the first woven wrap I tried, I saw a comple of wraps at y friend’s but never dared to try them, as I though I was not going to make it. I was wrong. I still lack experience but practice makes perfect. I am short and I thought the length was going to be great, but I would prefer it to be a bit longer. The baby was thriled with the wrap. I feel sorry for not recording her reaction. She is 7.5kg and 69cm. I did not feel her weight at all. I carried her for more than an hour.
All of my kids want to be carried. Mu fourth kid asked to be carried. He is 3.5 years old, has 12.5kg and 110/116 in height. I felt his weight just a little bit after half an hour. My older son is 4.5 years old and has around 14.5kg. I did feels his weight a bit.
The wrap was with us when we were dealing with flu and viruses. We would have tried even more carry types if we weren’t that exausted.
I can’t wait to see more of creations from this talented hands, but this wrap will always be special for us.

This was my first experience with a handwoven wrap. I was delighted! The colors, the sparkly threads, the fringes… everything is so gentle. It’s pretty firm and a little bit streachy in one direction. It’s perfect for toddlers. The only problem for me was its length. We did a few one-layered carrys, but I couldn’t make the knot by myself. I’m sure that this wouldn’t be a problem for the more experienced wrappers. All in all, the wrap is soft and gentle like an angel, but firm enough. Big thanks to Lenine putujuce nosiljke (Lena’s traveling carriers) and Vesna Djinovic, I’m impatient to try the next one! #lenastravelingcarriers #vesnaltc

Thanks to the wonderful LTC team and magic hands Vesna Đinović I had the pleasure to host this handwoven wrap. I’m not exactly a „wrapwoman“, my testing was more about touching and rolling myself into it 🤣 Colors are beautiful, wrap is gentle but firm, I think that would be perfect for a todler and some mom who likes shorter wraps. With a lot of effort and the help of my husband I was able to wrap my baby in it but it was not tight enough or safe for me. However this beautiful wrap is the main star of my new profile picture 😁 #vesnaltc #lenastravelingcarriers
