Many thanks to Lenine putujuce nosiljke (Lena’s traveling carriers) for giving me an opportunity to test this amazin carrier and also introducing me to this brand DracoMom Carriers- ex ZMajčice. This is an amazing carrier! Very soft, made my woven wrap, very adjustable to all shapes and sizes. Takes some time to find the best adjustments according to your body type and baby size – but when you do it is really perfect. It is very easy to attach/detach, you can do it yourself without help. This is a midi size, my baby at the time of testing is 7+ and around 9 kg, but can definitely be used with bigger babies and for a long run. This is so far the best carrier i run into and i am strongly suggesting that you try it!

I had the pleasure of testing two DracoMom carriers at the same time, one in a baby size, made of Nona woven wrap and one in a midi size, made of Little frog woven wrap, so this review will also be a comparison from my perspective.
Both of these carriers are shaped in the same way, the width and length of the panel can be adjusted. These are the only carriers I’ve tried so far that I didn’t have to shorten the shoulder straps, at all. The belts are great, firm and soft enough and dont move after a long period of wearing. The shoulder straps are thick enough to absorb pressure.
The panels are woven wraps which automatically means that it’s possible to make a very nice deep seat, which I find the most important thing when testing a ssc. Baby sized carrier, with the panel extended to the maximum, provides knee-to-knee support to my child (13 months, 12.5kg, 84cm), which was not the case with other carriers in the same size, while the midi sized carrier required testing the panel width. I wish there were some width adjustment indications on the belt. The midi-sized carrier is still new, so the panel on the carrier made of Nona wrap is a little bit softer. I prefer the design of the Little frog wrap because but that is just a matter of taste. For carrying on my back I was a little more comfortable with the midi sized carrier, while for carrying forward I mostly used the baby size. Both of them look really nice on moms, in my opinion. My only complaint is that the buckles tighten a little harder. .
If I were buying a carrier at this point, I would choose a midi size.
If you are choosing a carrier for the first year of child’s life, or even little longer, baby size is perfect for you. I’m very sorry I dont have better quality photos to show my delight for these carriers. At first I was surprised how lightweight this carrier is, and then how soft it is. 😊
Putting it on and adjusting was very easy, and even switching between me and my husband.

Finally the time has come for us to test the famous Draco Mom carrier.
I’ve heard so many moms saying praises for this carrier and I wondered, is it really that special?

Well it is!
Really soft, light weight, easy to fold and pack, really comfortable for the carrier, and with so many adjustment, it fits anyone.
My boy (15months, 13kg), who didn’t want to be back carried before, enjoyed the walk on the back so much that he fell asleep.
How much we like this carrier can be seen from a fact that after testing it we decided to buy our own in toddler size.

I’ve applied to test this carrier although I have a similar one of the same brand because I wanted to compare different sizes. I have owned a #DracoMom carrier baby size since last summer, and now I tested midi size. It turns out they are actually the same when the height and width of the panel is compared, but that is because different woven wraps were used to make them, mine has a net too, and my carrier has been used a lot for the last year.
These are the things they have in common: both can be adjusted for back and front carrying, for different bodytypes too (I am 1,65m and my husband is 1,9m). The panel can be adjusted too for smaller babies and up to 2 years more or less, depending on the height of the baby. The baby tester now is 13m old, 71cm and 8,5kg. We tried the first Draco when she was around 3m old, and bought our own since she was 4m old. My baby has always been petite so it can definetly go for some average baby since 1-2 month old. The buckles are safe and sturdy, the shoulder pad and the waist belt very comfortable. I have carried her in my carrier for hours, went to trips by public transport around the town and it was great. Even though I tend to have some back troubles once I learnt to set everything correctly I never had back pain. You need to take some time to fit everything to your body but once done you are ready to go. It doesn’t take up much space, I have a hip bag and a cloth bag for the carrier too, all made by DracoMom. If it is not too hot outside I leave the carrier on me when I am not wearing the baby.
The difference between my carrier and the green one made of Litlle frog woven wrap is that mine has a wrap on the outside, inside is linen, and a net in the middle. The green one is both layers a wrap. The time of testing is early spring, still cold outside, and the green carrier was very comfortable and cosy for the baby. I don’t think liitle frog one is not for warmer weather, it is still a very soft and breathable material. I like my net but those things are just a matter of preference, because everything is sewn meeting the individual wishes of the customer.
The pattern and the colour of this carrier is really great too.
Personally, if you are just at the beginning of your baby wearing journey, the baby is very young and/or a bit small, I’d go for the baby size, but if it’s a bigger baby or you are starting a bit later then midi size is a better choice. With my older sons that had 9kg by 6months I would’ve probably bought midi right away, but for her that would’ve been too big for a longer period of time.
To conclude, with regular and often use, not to many accidents but with babies that has to happen at some point, my Draco has passed the test of time, still very comfortable, not a stitch is broken or pulled out, everything looks like the first day I bought it, and I believe this little frog will stay the same. This test has just confirmed that DracoMom carrier is one od the best on the market, and the communication with the designer/owner has always been more than great.

I’ve applied to test this carrier and this is my first famous Draco but also first Little frog.
We still like front carrying even she is 19 months old, 79cm and have 11-12 kilos. The panel can be adjusted which is such a great thing. The carrier is soft and strong in the same time. It comfortable and easy to adjust. This test has just confirmed that DracoMom carrier is one that I want with next baby/babies. 🙂

You’re simply the best! I already tested DracoMom carrier in baby size when my girl was really little baby and I was delighted. Nothing changed at all. Actually, I enjoyed even more. Carrier is really soft, beautiful and soooo comfortable. Belt is perfect, shoulder straps are really adjustable and whole carrier as well. Tester is 16 months old and around 12,5kg.

This one is midi size and made of woven wrap, it is lightweight, thin, airy, very comfortable belt, nice, cushy shoulder pads, you can go miles with it 👌 it is adjustable in height and width, so it can be used for long time. This carrier is pure perfection! I am the owner of Manduca first baby carrier and this one was WOW, at first sight! So comfortable, so easy to set up. Everything is adjustable, soft and light. It fits your baby perfectly. I will deffinetely buy Draco Mom Midi carrier one day( very soon) as my baby really enjoyed it for this 5 days. We used it a lot, he fall asleep every time and I didn’t feel his weight at all. When he was awake, I made the panel smaller so his hands were free and he really enjoyed. Baby tester is a boy 8 months old and 9 kg weight. Only I would like it was longer with us…. Time flies 💙

It is the first soft structural carrier I carried my child in and we loved it. My baby is 9 months old and wheighs 9kg. It was very easy to put it on. I love back carring my baby, so I mostly carried him that way. It was easy to adjust hight of him on my back. The only thing that I couldn’t adjust perfectly were soulder straps when I carried him in front of me, they were loose no matter how much I would tighten them. My baby and I enjoyed testing this carrier and I I would reccomend it to everyone.

Even though the tester is almost 2 yrs old and 13kg and seems to have almost outgrown this carrier size, it was still unbelievably comfortable! #DracoMom we could test beloved carrier brand in the community and it did not disappoint. Conversion from the Woven wrap makes it very soft and moldable. It’s also green, and we love green. 🙂
The baby is 10-months old, weighing 10 kg, now on the size 80/86 and this midi size fits perfectly. The carrier could be adjusted in any way, which is excellent. Especially the height of the panel depending if the baby wants to look around or take a nap.
