OE Carrier by Our Expedition LLC, framed carrier for all adventures

This OE mountain carrier was in our possesion for a few days on a test thanks to Lenine putujuce nosiljke (Lena’s traveling carriers). Both my husband and I were eager to try it since this is the first time we tried this type of carrier. We tried it with both of our children, older who is almost 4 yo and has almost 19 kilos, and smaller who is 1 and a half yo, and has 10+ kilos. It was easy to set it up once we looked at the Youtube tutorial. Unfortunately, we only had a chance to try it in our home, but still it was an experience to remember. I liked the fact that manufacturer thought of everything, from hipp bag, to backpack, adjustments for smaller and higher carriers, and it even has cap for the kid, and sun shield protection for the kid. I would definitely recommend this carrier for mountain hikers.

Thanks to #lenastravellingcarriers we had a chance to test #oecarriers. Tester is a 16 months old baby who is 12.5 kg.
This was the first time that daddy accepted to try carrier. And he loved it. It is designed for man with a lot of cool features. Construction of the carrier is strong and gives good support for both baby and daddy. It comes with backpack, sunshade, wallet/cell phone pocket, height extenders and two matching flat cap (for big and small head). After we watched youtube tutorial we have easily adjusted everything.
Weight is evenly distributed on both shoulders and waist line and baby is well secured with shoulders, hipps and legs straps.
Baby loved to get an overview and daddy had his hands free for other things. It is foldable, so you can wear it without baby on your shoulders like a regular backpack.
The only downside of carrier is that deattaching of height extenders is not giong so easy. Probabbly it is easier after several times of use.
Overall we were satisfied and we would recommand it for all those active parents who walks and hike a lot.

This summer, due to the health situation, all Serbian spent the summer in Serbia! 😂 Mountains, lakes and domestic rural tourism have never been more popular. So did we. 😎 However, we wanted to avoid the crowds on the “famous” mountains, so we decided for Rudnik, a less popular destination, an air spa in the part of Serbia called Šumadija. But how to hike and walk through more demanding terrains with a 2.5-year-old toddler and a 4-month-old baby? That is when Lena’s traveling carriers and OE carrier by Our Expedition LLC come to the rescue.
Our ssc by DracoMom Carriers- ex ZMajčice was perfect for the baby, and we tested OE hiking carrier with our curious little girl. Olivera is 2.5 years old and weighs about 15 kg.
The most important thing with this type of carrier is the correct adjustment. If you have patience and follow the instructions, it is not difficult. When the child is properly and comfortably placed, you can embark on an adventure, the sky is the limit. 😊
Dad didn’t find the most comfortable position the first time (we were one of those who didn’t have the patience for instructions) but the next time it was much better.
Olivera enjoyed it! She liked the little roof or canopy accessory the most, which she used even though there was no rain. 😁 She waved, sang, ate a sandwich on daddy’s head…
When the child no longer wants to be carried, the carrier can be packed and stored in the backpack that was provided as an accessory. (although I don’t know if it’s intended for that, but the carrier fits in it nicely).
We haven’t really conquered the mountain peaks, but for family adventures like this, easier hiking, sightseeing, longer walks on inconvenient terrains for a child, this carrier is perfect. It is a special experience for a child when it is on a father’s shoulders, above all, “touching the sky” and seeing what you can not see.
My only concern is that I have to prepare myself physically by next summer and that we will need two of these carriers! 😁😎🥰

Review by a babywearing dad: OE Mountian carrier was with us for several days. I wanted to test it on an actual mountain, but unfortunately, all our travel plans failed. Therefore, I only tested this carrier in our town, using it for our standard walks, but I still enjoyed it. I already tried one mountain carrier before, and preferred this one, as the belts holding the baby were more secure and it simply felt more comfortable for me. The baby (toddler) tester is 22 months old and has around 12kg. We both really enjoyed it and I would recommend this carrier for all outdoor lovers and their little ones. Boy, were we happy because of this!
This is definitely dad’s carrier, not because it is not suitable for moms, but because dads love it.
It is very easy, quick and intuitive to set up and adjust.
The backpack is to die for and the head cover was very useful for us cause it was rainy.
I would use this type of carrier for hiking but not in the woods or Rocky terrain cause I think it is better that the child is not over your head for safety reasons.
Iskra loved the fact she could see everything and that she was so tall. It really created a stronger father daughter bond ❤️❤️❤️🙏

It is very easy to adjust, it is also very comfortable and secure, and I would recommend it. Our baby is 16months old and around 11kg and his weight was arranged good. We all enjoyed in this carrier.

This is the only carrier in which my little girl could carry herself for hours. Within a few days, as long as carrier was with us, we carried each other non-stop and enjoyed ourselves. It is very comfortable, I like how the child is safe if the terrain for movement is bad, which is not the our case. Unfortunately, we could not go to the lake nearby and enjoy because the weather conditions were bad but we enjoyed the street and the yard to the maximum. All recommendations for this carrier. At the time of testing, my baby was 12 months and about 10 kg. 👌🏻❤️

Thanks to Lena’s traveling carriers we tried this mountain carrier (Lena’s traveling carriers). I tried it with my youngest child, he is now three years old and has 15 kilos. 😉 It was easy to set up everything. Unfortunately, I only had a chance to try it in our flat, but still it was one lovely experience. 😀 I would recommend this carrier for mountain hikers. 😊

Our Expedition surprised us! I have to say it’s much more comfortable than we have expected. The first one who was delighted was our boy (almost 2 years old and weights 13kg). He was used to wraps and to a babywearing mum, but wearing on the dady’s sholders was the big WOW! We like that the carrier has so many adjusments. You can adjust it right to your needs. The rucksac is very practical too. We couldn’t go hiking to test it, but the boys were happy and smiled after a long evening walk ☺️ At the same time mumy had the girl’s time 😉 so I have no complains 😁 Thanks OE carrier by Our Expedition LLC and Lenine putujuce nosiljke (Lena’s traveling carriers), this was unusual experience!

Last week we had a chance to test this amazing carrier. My husband carried our 3y old and i tried it with our 1y old. Children really enjoyed and didn’t want to come down. My husband says that this carrier is great and it fitted him fine. He didn’t have any pain or pressure on his neck or shoulder. I also enjoyed this carrier, i loved the reaction my baby had because she was so high. She was happy and giggly. This carrier is an amazing quality and it has its own backpack witch is essential for longer walks.

We we’re lucky enough to have this carrier with us during New Years and Christmas holidays, so it stayed a bit longer them usual, and I must admit, this one we really enjoyed to the maximum. Husband did all the carrying, he was blown away. It was light, he said, and as he is a big man, with big arms and shoulders, it suited him perfectly. Baby girl really liked this carry on daddy’s shoulders, to be honest, maybe even better then in a wrap or any other carrier. It is beautiful, easy to set up, but he always needed my help to put the baby up. Maybe it would be even better if the underarm straps were padded, so it would make it even more comfortable. Baby is 14,5 months old at the time of the testing and about 9 kg. Husband is 182cm in height and about 160kg. We really used this carrier and we really appreciate the opportunity, Lenine putujuce nosiljke (Lena’s traveling carriers) and OE carrier by Our Expedition LLC . We warmly recommend to all the active people who enjoy long walks. And one more thing, we started this babywearing year with this carrier, first walk on the first day in new year was with it. Thanks to Lenine putujuce nosiljke (Lena’s traveling carriers) we tested Our expedition carrier for a few days. It took me a while to adjust everything and I am still not sure if I did it correctly. First I tried it around the house, putting the baby on the carrier, even bouncing a little bit, taking her down, and it was OK. The next day I took an hour walk with it but the baby kept leaning to one side and backwards. I felt a bit off balance, it wasn’t stable and I think it was big for me, there was too much space on the shoulders and the top of my back. Also my neck started to hurt. The baby is a bit small for this, she is 1y old and 8,5kg, so perhaps it would be great when she gets older and it is also more of a dad carrier I think, or at least for someone who is more fit than I am. Nevertheless, I liked the design and the idea, and all the extra things that come with it, especially the backpack.

This is one of those carriers I probably wouldn’t have heard of if it wasn’t for #lenastravelingcaries.
I was delighted with the idea of this carrier because its essence is to deepen the bond between father and child.
For the first time, my husband was more excited than me because this carrier is coming to us.
Our first impression: the designer of this carrier thought of everything. The carrier can be adjusted to different heights, it has a backpack included, there is a sunshade that perfectly fits the backpack, you even get two caps in a matching color.
Before going for a walk we tested it at the house to make sure everything fits. It does take some time to figure it out, but once you do, you can enjoy all the freedom this carrier provides to you.
Our boy (14 months, 12 kg) was thrilled. He loves being on daddy’s neck, and now he was even more comfortable and secure out there.
My husband said it was a little bit odd at the beginning, but once he got the hang of it, he could walk and hike undisturbedly with it.

Thanks to #lenastravelingcarriers we had this carrier for several days. It is so nice that this carrier has a backpack and hats, sunshade, so you are ready for a long walks with it 🙂 Dad said that OE is more confortable than any other carrier that he have tried. I believe it is because it has 2 belts to adjust on carrier body, on the chest and lower. We have tried it both in the city and mountain and it is great everywhere. Baby has a great view and feels realy comfortable. Our baby have 11 months and 11.5kg. He touched snow for the first time in life from this carrier 🙂 . As far as mommy is concerned, this carrier is quite uncomfortable. Baby enjoyed, the walk was perfect, without anxiety. My back hurt after wearing my son. We were hiking in Zlatibor and unfortunatelly for long distance is not.

The carrier is fabulously imagined for hiking but my child wasn’t so plesed with carring. He wanted to run all time. So we havn’t succeed to carry for a long time. It is great to have it when you go on a trip and hike on a hill or somewhere else. Overall we are very satisfied and happy for having a chance to have it. I’m sorry we don’t have a picture, my child wasn’ so plesed with carring and we didn’t succeed to take it. I hope that’s not a problem.
