Woven Wings Evergreen

Woven Wings – Evergreen
65% merino, 35% Egyptian cotton

Darija Maho, Serbia

Thanks to Lenine putujuce nosiljke (Lena’s traveling carriers) I had the pleasure of testing Woven Wings Evergreen wrap in size 6. This is a blend with merino wool and I was afraid of how my skin is going to react during these warm days, but I did not feel the wool at all, other than the softness it gives. Even though it is not completely broken in, it is still easy to wrap and tighten, and the colors are absolutely beautiful. Me and my little one really enjoyed it. Baby tester is 7 months old and has around 9kg. Thank you very much for this opportunity!

For the first time in our babywearing journey, we had a chance to try Woven Wings ! This Evergreen beauty is 65% merino and 35% egyptian cotton. Never tried blend with merino before and I thought it would be itchy and thick, but totally opposite! Even though we were the first testers it was so soft from the beginning and so easy to wrap it! And colours… The most beautiful combination of colours, my favourites red and green… Just for the opening I tried it with my older girl, 3,5 years old and 18kg, when she saw it she couldn’t resist it. And with my baby boy, one year old and about 14kg and it holds perfectly. Thank you Lena’s traveling carriers and @Woven wings for the chance to try this perfect wrap! ❤️💚❤️💚

Thanks to Lenine putujuce nosiljke (Lena’s traveling carriers) I had the opportunity to test Woven wings Evergreen wrap 65% merino 35%cotton size 6. Baby tester is two years old and around 12 kg weight, and at the time of testing in my town was very hot, temperatures were around 40 degrees, and this wrap was surprisingly comfortable during these days. It was easy to use and I didn’t feel the baby’s weight. And this wool didn’t pick me at all. Thanks again for this great opportunity 💚❤️💚❤️

Thanks to Lenine putujuce nosiljke (Lena’s traveling carriers) and Woven Wings, we had an opportunity to test this beautiful Evergreen wrap 65% merino wool, 35% egiptian cotton. This blend is apsolutely perfect. It is my favourite so far. Wrapping is easy, it glides nicely in multilayered carries but doesn’t sag nor it is slippery in single layered ones. These pockets give nice and puffy texture and enough grip to hold everything in place. My baby’s kilos felt weightless on my shoulders. I am really delighted because I managed to try it and to try some new carries with it also. Thanks to LPN and WW for this experience

Not my first encounter with WW wraps, but once again, the thrill is there. One of the most amazing wraps I’ve ever tested. Soft but strong, warm and really perfect for autumn, and luckily, autumn it here, and the perfect weather for really enjoying it. My girl is soon to be 2 years old, around 11,5 kg. She herself asked to be carried, which she haven’t done in a long time, regarding wraps, mostly onbuhimo for us. She is teething badly, and last weekend was especially hard, but this wrap came to rescue. Thank you, Woven Wings , and Lenine putujuce nosiljke (Lena’s traveling carriers) , for this amazing experience, and probably last tester from you, with this wrapee at least.

I must say that a heard a lot positive about woven wings wraps and I expected a lot. I like desing, colours, wrap is very beautiful. My girl in moment of testing was around 15 months I didn’t feel any pressure on my back and wrapping was easy, but I don’t know why I just didn’t like blend.

Thanks to Lenine putujuce nosiljke (Lena’s traveling carriers) and Woven Wings we had opportunity to test Woven wings Evergreen size 6.
The material is amazingly soft, lightweight, and colour is stunning. It is a gorgeous wrap, easy to use even when the baby is curious about everything around him. He was 6 months old and about 8kgs at the moment.
We truly like it and enjoyed wearing it.

🍂🍁 Are you matching your outfits and wraps by season?
What about the gsm, it rises when it’s more cold?

📖REVIEW: Evergreen🍁🍂

Wrap size: 6
Stih: 5m
Width: 62cm
GSM: 315
Composition: 65% merino wool, 35% cotton

🍁Diagonal stretch: medium to high, gives a bandage feel, stretches nicely, holds snugly when tightened
🍂Bounce: low, a little bouncy but tolerable
🍁Glide: low, due to the double pocket weave and merino fuss, it doesn’t have slippery feel like simple quads for example
🍂Grip: medium, same double pocket weave provides a good grippy feel when two layers cross one another, they stay in place even though bouncing effect. Due to cotton it feels more stable than all merino wraps.
🍁Texture: high, after a first bath, double pockets fluff up significantly creating a texture and it’s impossible to get a flat wrap, some crases are there no matter how you ironed. Cush is on the other hand heavenly. I can say it is a little spongy😊
🍁Thickness: medium, even though calculated gsm states 315, it’s fairly thin in hand
🍂Thermoregulation properties: high merino blends has great thermoregulating properties and it allows air circulation so there is no moist or sweaty feeling,
🍁Squish to toddler: more on toddler side, I would say 6kg up

Carries:
🍁DH with CCCB
🍁Charlie’s cross carry (with various finishes: knotless, freshwater, buleria CCCB,)

Weather conditions:

🍂🍁 autumnal
🌬️ windy

The triple-layer, double pocket compensates well for the high merino content, while on the other hand provides cush.
Although with my wrapee who’s 18 kg and 2,5 yrs the carries need to be well tightened but I’d say that with lighter babies is very forgiving.

It was really a pleasure wearing it and lovely how it matches with this autumnal landscape.🍁🍂

Thanks to Lenine putujuce nosiljke (Lena’s traveling carriers) we had a chance to test this wonderful Evergreen woven wrap! Baby is 20 months old and around 10kg. The design is amazing, I loved the colours, the pattern and the texture. At the same time it’s very soft, moldable, glides nicely and not too much of a grip, but still sturdy enough to hold a toddler in place, distribute the weight nicely and not dig in the shoulders. Merino doesn’t add the temperature at all and it is certainly not itchy the tiniest bit. Totally recommend for all babywearing career, newborns and toddlers likewise 😀
Thank you so much for this opportunity!

Woven wings Evergreen 🌲review🌲

I had a chance to try this beautiful wrap a while ago. My baby was 13 months old and had around 9kg.
At the time the weather was warmer but the high merino did its great thermoregulation job and it wasn’t hot in it at all. I’m sure it would do a wonderful job in colder conditions too and keep us warm as well.
The wrap has medium thicknes and it’s not to thick, it feels rather thin in hand. It wraps really nicely with that great bandagy feel. On the shoulders it felt soft, cushy and very comfortable and was not digging in. It’s also really forgiving, since I didn’t do the best wrap job beacuse of my bouncy child, it was still holding really good. When I saw this wrap for the first time in the pictures I wasn’t too impressed by its colors, but then very quickly saw its amazing quality and even got a little crush. It’s actually really beautiful and I think it’s a perfect wrap for that autumn/winter vibe.

This is the most beautiful wrap I’ve ever had so far! I was so grateful for the opportunity to try it out. It is very colorful and seams strong. Its easy moldable and when you tie a knot you dont have to worry it will loosen. But, I expected it to be more soft to touch. For example I wouldnt be using it with a newborn, but its perfect for bigger kids in my opinion! I tested it with my son and my daughter. Son is 10 months old and has 9kg, and daughter is almost 6 years old and she has 23kg. Im very satisfied by this wrap and grateful for the opportunity! Thank you so much Lena’s traveling carriers and Woven Wings

First, I want to thank Lenine putujuce nosiljke (Lena’s traveling carriers) and Woven Wings for giving me an opportunity to try out this beautiful wrap! When I started my babywearing journey, very soon I heard of this brand. I had such luck to get to try it just before we stopped wrapping, as it was my dream for so long to try it. And I must say this beauty did not disappoint. I am sure even a complete beginner would enjoy it as it is so easy to work with, so soft yet so sturdy. Held the weight of my baby perfectly without cutting into my shoulders. I hope I will in the future get to wrap a Woven Wings wrap maybe with a new baby.
